When and where is the Evergreen Street Fair?
Evergreen Street Fair takes place Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 11 AM-3 PM on Overton Park Avenue between Willett and Avalon.
How much does it cost?
Admission is free and all are welcome.
What happens if weather is bad?
In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 11 AM-3 PM at the same location.

Will bike parking be available?
Yes. Attendees who are able to bike are strongly encouraged to do so.
A dedicated bike parking lot with free, secure bike valet service will be provided by Dos Gatos bike shop. The bike parking provider and map location will be announced closer to the event.
Where can I park?
Street parking will be available throughout the Evergreen neighborhood where street parking is permitted.
Attendees are encouraged to walk or bike if possible, and to be respectful of neighbors by not blocking driveways, alleys, or access roads.
Will streets be closed?
Yes. Street closures are planned from 8 AM-4 PM on the day of the event to keep the fair safe and walkable.
Overton Park Avenue between Willett and Angelus will be closed, with thru traffic allowed at Willett and Angelus during the event. The intersection of Overton Park Avenue and Avalon will be closed to all thru traffic.
Will food be available?
Yes. A variety of local food vendors will be on-site.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes. Beer, wine, and liquor will be available for purchase from Ecco for guests 21 and older with valid ID.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No. Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
Outside food and drinks are not allowed, though water bottles are fine.
Guests are encouraged to support the food and drink vendors at the fair.
Is the event family-friendly?
Yes. Evergreen Street Fair includes activities for all ages, including a dedicated Kids Zone.
What activities will be available for children?
Kids Zone details will be announced closer to the event. Planned activities may include inflatables, crafts, games, face painting, and other family-friendly fun.
Can I bring my dog?
While we love dogs, we ask that pets stay home whenever possible due to large crowds, loud music, bicycles, and limited space.
Only trained service animals are permitted at Evergreen Street Fair.
Is the event accessible?
Yes. The festival takes place on paved streets and sidewalks.
More accessibility details, including ADA-accessible restroom locations, will be announced closer to the event.
Are restrooms available?
Yes. Restroom locations will be included on the event map once finalized.
What types of vendors will be there?
The fair will feature a mix of food trucks, nonprofits, local businesses, community resources, arts, and culture booths.
Can I smoke or vape at the event?
Smoking and vaping will not be allowed on the festival grounds.
Can I bring a cooler?
No. Coolers are not permitted.
Can I bring tents or large umbrellas?
No. Tents and canopies are not permitted unless they are part of an approved vendor setup.
Can I bring scooters, skateboards, or hoverboards?
Guests should walk bikes through crowded areas. Motorized recreational devices are not permitted in the festival area.
Is there an event map?
Yes. An event map will be posted before the fair with vendor locations, stages, restrooms, the Kids Zone, bike parking, first aid, and the information booth.
What items are prohibited?
For guest safety and comfort, the following items are not permitted:
- Outside food and drinks, except water bottles
- Coolers
- Pets, except trained service animals
- Firearms
- Tents or canopies, except approved vendor setups
What should I do if I lose a child or personal item?
Please go directly to the information tent for help.
Why is the street closed?
Evergreen Street Fair is designed to give people a chance to experience the neighborhood from a different perspective: walking, biking, and gathering in a safe, car-free environment.
Temporary street closures create space for music, local businesses, community activities, and neighbors to connect while showcasing the benefits of a more walkable, bike-friendly neighborhood.
